???A Heartfelt Thank You to His Care Team??? Two months ago, Jody Tittle celebrated a birthday he will never forget. After enjoying a special meal with his family, he found himself in our TriStar Horizon Medical Center emergency room with heart attack symptoms just hours later. Jody’s resilience stunned our ER team as they worked quickly to assess his condition. In our cardiac cath lab, specialists performed a procedure to open his blocked artery. He required multiple shocks to restart his heart, but his team never gave up. ???“I knew this could be it, and I was okay with that. But I didn’t want to go that way. God has always been faithful, and I was comforted by that.” This past week, Jody and his wife, Lynn, reunited with the heroes who saved his life — his ER doctor, nurses, interventionalist, respiratory therapists, ICU staff and cardiac nurses. The emotional reunion was filled with hugs, gratitude and shared faith.??? Now training at TriStar Centennial Medical Center's GME program, they’re strengthening a family bond while advancing in their medical careers. “It feels very natural,” Steven says of working alongside James. “We chose the same classes and studied together in college, but parted ways for our medical training.
