Additionally, three fellows have completed their residency in our consortium and are staying on for their fellowship training. Congratulations to our class of 2024! The stories behind the smiles - It’s always a special event when we welcome our new Residents. Today, PGY-1 Internal Medical Resident Vera Kalra, MBBS said, “The event was everything I had hoped it would be.” Carolina Giraldo, DO, also a PGY-1 in Internal Medicine, thought of her family when she said, “My father died when I was 18. I would have done anything to help him live. I thought if I would have done that for him I should do it for other people. And, that’s what brought me here.” We’re proud to be a part of HCA Healthcare and it’s growing GME program.
