In celebration of our Rehabilitation Center's 50th Anniversary, we would like to share Michael's journey and experience with the exsoskeleton. Exoskeletons are battery-powered, robotic suits that are strapped over the user’s clothing, enabling individuals to stand and are emerging as an exciting next step in maximizing the recovery of persons with spinal cord injuries and other neurologic conditions that limit mobility. The exsoskeleton is one of the awesome rehabilitation therapies that will be on display today at our Rehabilitation Center's 50th Anniversary Community Open House.
