We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Sunstar Paramedics and NATIONAL HEALTH TRANSPORT, INC. for their exceptional support in safely transferring our patients. To further protect the hospital, we have deployed the Tiger Dam Flood Control System—an advanced solution designed to shield our facility from potential flooding. This will help ensure that our hospital is secure and ready to serve the community as soon as conditions allow. It's National Rehabilitation Awareness Week, and what better way to celebrate than by sharing an inspiring story from one of our own patients, Angela Basso! Last year, Angela suffered multiple strokes, which left her unable to walk, talk, write, or live the life she once knew. But with the dedication and support of HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital’s inpatient and outpatient rehab teams, Angela's story took an incredible turn. After just six months of intensive therapy, she made a remarkable recovery and regained her independence. Angela’s journey is a true testament to the power of rehabilitation and the amazing care our teams provide every day.
