"We are the Ohio River because we drink the water". This new report by the National Wildlife Federation and the Ohio River Basin Alliance (ORBA) presents findings from 31 community listening sessions that will be used to inform the ORBA's plan to restore and protect the waters of the Ohio River Basin. Once complete, this plan will be delivered to the U.S. Congress with the goal of securing and sustaining the federal investments necessary to implement the plan’s recommendations. In 2023, the Ohio River was labeled the Second Most Endangered River in the U.S. Input from citizens can go a long way in shedding light on what they believe, care about, and want done to restore and protect the Ohio River Basin. https://lnkd.in/e_mJcZmn
