Our team recently delivered a 38,707 SF office space for Riverside Research in Fairfax, VA. This project consisted of a full-scale demolition and build-out that redefined an entire floor and two-thirds of an adjacent space. This transformation included the creation of a state-of-the-art executive suite, modern private offices, and high-tech IT areas, designed for innovation and efficiency. Project Details: ?? Teamwork takes flight! ?? We recently executed an HVAC unit replacement at Westfield Montgomery – Tory Burch, utilizing a helicopter for optimal access. Due to the mall’s layout and the unit’s rooftop location, this method proved to be the most effective solution. Our team, alongside specialized helicopter operators, our MEP subcontractors, and safety consultants, meticulously planned and executed the lift. Pre-lift preparations included a thorough site inspection, parking lot clearance, detailed sequence briefings, and rigorous unit readiness checks. See the incredible operation unfold! ? #WomenInConstructionWeek is in full swing! ?? The last decade has experienced consistent year-over-year growth in the number of women in the construction industry. The most recent data reveals an increase of 56,000 women from 2023 to 2024 upping the total to 1,343,000, or 11.2% of the total workforce. To gain more insight into how women are making strides in the industry as well as what obstacles remain, check out the current data we gathered ? Despite the promising opportunities a career in construction offers, women are still underrepresented.
