I-80 Phase III project - I-80 from Ridge Rd to River Rd, providing essential construction inspection services. This comprehensive project includes pavement reconstruction, culverts replacement, concrete median barrier wall construction, and much more. Our team's dedication ensures top-notch quality and safety for this critical infrastructure improvement. HBM Engineering Group, LLC was also the Phase II designer on record for four culverts being constructed, creating the design and plans to bring this project to life. ?? Seeing our designs and plans come to life! We had the privilege of witnessing the Deck Pour of the River Road Bridge over I-80. This bridge is one of the significant components of the $1.2 Billion I-80 Reconstruction Project by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). As the designer of record for this bridge, HBM Engineering Group, LLC takes great pride in this achievement. Our team also designed the two soldier pile retaining walls on each side of the bridge, visible in the accompanying video. The River Road Bridge is being upgraded to include provisions for Multi-use paths, accommodating the widening of the I-80 expressway while improving vertical clearance.
