From smartphones and computers to cars, household appliances, and even wind turbine blades, Yantai’s products play a crucial role in making these items more reliable, environmentally friendly, and safe. Recently, several H.B. Fuller leaders including CEO Celeste Mastin visited the Yantai facility as part of our quarterly CEO Huddle, which was broadcast to employees all around the world. Great talent is the glue that holds us together! Meet Fernando Martinez, Production Supervisor from Edison, New Jersey. Fernando began his journey at H.B. Fuller in 2013 as a temporary employee before quickly transitioning to a full-time role as a production batch operator. Through hard work, he mastered the entire production process from raw materials to finished products. By 2017, Fernando was promoted to 1st shift lead, and in 2023, he became a production supervisor, now leading a 17-member team. His career growth was fueled and supported by the Talent Up program. The Talent Up program provides an exciting 4-month leadership development opportunity that will include assessments, development plans, training opportunities, and stretch assignments while being assigned a sponsor.
