Project Highlight: Hazelett Marine recently completed a successful second phase installation of The Wild Mile. The Wild Mile is an Urban Rivers project, and is the World’s First-Ever Floating Eco-Park, located along the North Branch Canal of the Chicago River. Hazelett Marine provided project management and engineering, and deployed Hazelett DockMaster conservation elastic mooring systems to handle the water level variation and conditions. The Wild Mile has stayed put through dramatic flooding, even when the river has risen above the seawalls. Hazelett Marine is proud to be part of this innovative and impactful project.
