We also coordinate the highway clean up annually during the Hui Nalu - Kaiwi Coast Run Walk - when the highway is closed and it is a super safe time to pick up garbage! Litter not only impacts our direct environment as an eyesore but is extremely important to keep human and marine life safe and healthy. Whenever we gather to collect together for Adopt-A-Highway, it feels fulfilling and encouraging for a cleaner future for our keiki.
