What an incredible two weeks it has been with the #huikapili cohort sessions in full swing! Last week, we learned about the Ninja system and marketing strategy by Abe Lee of Abe Lee Seminars, Julie Hirano Kaneko of aio Hawai'i and our publisher, Cyd Rosa (Kamakea) of Hawaii Home + Remodeling Magazine ... then we had the honor of hearing from Stanford Carr of Stanford Carr Development, LLC regarding his projects and the importance of affordable housing in Hawaii. This week, Neil Tagawa of RedHammer took us through the intricacies of construction accounting, Clarence Regalado of Alliant Insurance Services related the accounting lesson to understanding the process of surety, and Steven Chiang of HammerTECH LLC gave us a quick overview of technology advances in the construction industry. To top it all off, we were joined by Sterling Higa of Housing Hawai‘i's Future to remind us of the impact we can all have on our island community if we work together toward a common goal!
