We started the EmPOWER Grant in 2020 to provide our local small businesses & nonprofits with funding to purchase energy-efficient equipment. Since then, we've distributed more than $5 MILLION to more than 450 orgs, reducing electricity costs for them by millions (yes, millions!) in the years to come. The best part? We've heard from our grantees that these upgrades have allowed them to stay open through the pandemic, serve more customers, and make more of a positive impact on Hawaii. ??
