Now in his 60s and navigating health challenges, including seizures, he is working toward stability with the support of Haven’s ID recovery and benefits assistance services. Despite experiencing homelessness for the past two years, Dana remains hopeful about securing housing and building a new chapter in his life. His story is a testament to perseverance and the importance of community support in times of need. Behind the scenes with The Hope Connection. This series has been enlightening to produce, and I've loved every bit of it! For this series, my intern, Emily, and I set up a table, mics, cameras, and signs and waited for people to come talk to us. We didn't have to wait long, and everyone who participated got 10 minutes to tell their story. Some of these stories were sad and others happy, but every single one of them had one thing in common: HOPE. Last week, Haven for Hope hosted our spring Resource Fair and we had an amazing turnout! We had about 450 people walk the fair and 91 invited agencies were in attendance. Our Resource Fairs are an excellent opportunity for our clients and community to explore what Haven, our partners, and community organizations have to offer and to make meaningful connections for their needs.
