We were honored to attend TRB’s 2025 Annual Meeting this week. Among the outstanding sessions, one truly stood out: the?State DOT CEO Roundtable—led by?AASHTO President Garrett Eucalitto—where state DOT leaders came together to discuss making safety the core of every DOT decision. A key takeaway from the session??Building safe infrastructure is only half the battle; we must address driver behavior, community engagement, and real-time communication to truly advance roadway safety.
