We're proud to be offering some truly unique summer camps again this year including Rosie's Girls Summer Camp, a Trades and STEM exploration camp for middle school girls and gender expansive youth that we're offering with partnering organization, Vermont Works for Women; as well as Build Your Own Skateboard Camp, a unique hands-on design and build morning camp followed by an afternoon of real skating which is offered in partnership with First Proof Press and the Boys & Girls Club of Brattleboro. Camps run this July and August for one week each, and space is still available in both. Full scholarships are available for Rosie's Girls. HatchSpace is a community-supported workshop dedicated to preserving the artistry of woodworkers through advancement of traditional and contemporary woodworking skills and methods. HatchSpace offers affordable memberships for our 8,000 SF workshop and tools. We host a monthly calendar of training and skills-building courses for learners at all levels. And we foster a supportive, feedback-rich environment. Our tools include all those required for basic woodworking (table saws, jointer and planers, lathes etc), large-scale machines including a 43" sander, CNC mortise and tenon mill, a ShopBot with 8" of vertical travel), and fun tools for learning such as our GlowForge laser engraver. HatchSpace's courses cover basic tool training, beginning and intermediate woodworking skills, and advanced or "master" classes for producing exquisite wood-made goods. From rolling pins to Windsor chairs, cutting board to cabinets - we've got you covered. Come experience the joy of making with wood at HatchSpace!

We're so proud to be a part of Retreat Farm's North Barn Grand Opening! Over the past many weeks, and together with our friends at Retreat Farm, we engaged countless volunteers in one of our Community Build Projects - the design, fabrication, and building of custom tables that will be used at the many future events that the North Barn at Retreat Farm will host! We can't wait to seem them in full swing! Thank you to all our volunteers and the HatchSpace team that lead the effort, and a very special congratulations to Retreat Farm!
