While at Camp Miller ?? in Pensacola/Burnsville, NC, we heard one of many incredible stories of survival. “Momma” ?? shared how she and her husband ran alongside the banks, helplessly watching their 79-year-old neighbor being swept away by a devastating mudslide. Miraculously, he survived. This is just one of the many powerful accounts we’ve heard here—stories that demonstrate the strength, resilience, and unity of this community. Hatching Hope Disaster Relief, in partnership with Pegasus Residential, delivered much-needed essentials and cleanup supplies to support Burnsville/Pensacola, North Carolina areas as they rebuild and recover after Hurricane Helene. Fairfield, Alabama Apartment Fire Updates- Hatching Hope Disaster Relief joined forces with the Central Alabama Red Cross, delivering 70 Hatching Hope Disaster Relief Comfort Kits and 20 Teddy Bears to the shelter to bring comfort and relief to over 70 residents and 18 children impacted by the devastating Fairfield, Alabama apartment fire. ??
