There’s nothing quite like getting together in person as a team?? Earlier this month, we traded Zoom calls for some face-to-face fun at our annual company retreat. It was a refreshing break from the normal routine and a fun way to recharge together! Sidenote: HIGHLY recommend doing an escape room together as a team-building exercise. We escaped...but let’s just say those last five minutes seemed to stretch a lot longer (thanks to some generous timekeeping ??).

I had an absolutely amazing time at Insights Marketing Day in Chicago. I dare say this was the best year yet. I walked away with pages and pages of notes, a to do list a mile long and enough inspiration to actually complete it. Creating a customized Board of Advisors in ChatGPT has really helped me work through some of the bigger strategic questions for my company. I don't think it's because ChatGPT is smarter than me, I just think it asks good questions and forces me to think through issues. Plus, when it annoys me, I can be mean to it and no one is upset.

What do squirrels and AI have in common?
I'll be the first to admit that we've been a little slow in May so I've been focused on two important passions: 1) Keeping squirrels out of my peach tree (failing miserably on this one despite the plastic owl I bought) 2) Digging even deeper into AI and it's impact on data-driven decision making (much more confident on this one) I even applied to give a talk on the three ways I see AI changing the way we consume data in the future. Fingers crossed I am accepted as a speaker because I realized that I have a lot to say. If anyone knows anything about scaring squirrels away, DM me. Well, you can DM me about AI too I suppose.
