?? HUCG Spring 2025 Recruitment is Here! ?? As we gear up for an exciting new semester, the Harvard Undergraduate Consulting Group (HUCG) is proud to reflect on the accomplishments of the past fall and invite new members to join our dynamic community. From stellar client feedback — spanning top firms in pharmaceuticals to big tech — to impactful new initiatives for our membership, HUCG continues to set a high standard for excellence. Before the spring semester takes off, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the achievements of our incredible members. Fall 2024 Highlights ? Giving Back: HUCG donated to 8 charities close to our members’ hearts. These organizations ranged from supporting at-risk youth to providing extracurricular programs for kids and teens. In addition to this, HUCG hosted its 9th annual installment of our Consult for a Cause Hackathon in collaboration with the Institute for Integrated Transitions, focusing on how we can bring innovative approaches like fast-track negotiation to the market to tackle large-scale violence and foster peace and stability in modern conflict zones. ? Driving Inclusion: HUCG launched 4 new events to introduce underrepresented groups to consulting, offering their first engagements and ensuring equitable access to opportunities. ? Enhanced Feedback Systems: Piloted a new performance evaluation system, building greater transparency and offering members actionable feedback early in the semester to help them succeed. ? Memorable Celebrations: From a lively midpoint party at Olé to an elegant final celebration at The Fairmont Copley, we fostered a supportive and vibrant community throughout the semester. We are thrilled to announce the upcoming Eighth iteration of Consult for a Cause (CFAC), Harvard Undergraduate Consulting Group's (HUCG) annual consulting hackathon in partnership with a high-impact nonprofit. This year, we're proud to collaborate with the Institute for Integrated Transitions - IFIT, an international NGO dedicated to bridging social and political divides and expanding the range of solutions in peacebuilding efforts worldwide. CFAC is a unique opportunity to harness the bright minds within HUCG and the broader Harvard community to tackle real-world strategic challenges. IFIT's mission to revolutionize political conflict negotiations aligns perfectly with our goal to foster innovative problem-solving and collaboration. Calling all Harvard pre-frosh! If you're passionate about strategic problem-solving and making a global impact, this is your chance to contribute. The event kicks off with a day-long consulting hackathon on Saturday, where participants will work in teams of 3-4 to develop a strategic solution.
