The Harvard Psychedelics Club is an undergraduate club at Harvard University. The two aims of the Harvard Psychedelics Club are to (i) educate the general public about current psychedelic research and highlight the role psychedelics have played in culture and society over time, and (ii) advocate for the decriminalization of psychedelic medicines and the increased accessibility of psychedelic medicines for those who need them. We are not blindly encouraging the use of psychedelics, instead, we are convinced by the promising research that has shown the ability of psychedelics to effectively treat seemingly intractable conditions such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Treatment Resistant Depression, and Addiction, and we believe that making them more accessible for measured and responsible usage could help millions of people and our society at large.
