Our Advocacy committee (Raquel Ferrer Espada, Michel Nofal and Payel Ganguly) shared results from our visa assessment survey sparking insightful discussions on international postdoc experience. Thrilled to share that our outreach committee along with MGH PDA and MGH CDI hosted a panel for Bunker Hill Community college students! Our panelists—from different stages of their science journeys—shared stories, insights, and advice about navigating their careers in research. It was inspiring to see so many students engaging and asking questions about their futures in science. Can’t wait to see where their journeys take them! Our outreach committee chairs Payel Ganguly and Wardiya Afshar-Saber, Ph.D. along with MGH PDA and MGH CDI kicked off our outreach program (Pathways to Science and Medicine Mentoring Program), bringing community college students and their post-doc mentors together for the first time. This is the start of a great journey, with students getting valuable advice and support from their mentors. Special shout out to Rose D. for her continuous support!
