It was a great show of support from our team at last week's inaugural Estrella Cup golf tournament at The Golf Club of Estrella in the City of Goodyear. Displaying their golf prowess were Timothy Brislin, Kathleen Nidiffer, Nathan Shooks, Roger Theis, Amy Weidman, and Aaron Pederson. Thanks to Jeff Zimmerman and his team at Estrella Development Company and Trevor Finton and his team at the golf club for putting on such a great inaugural event on a glorious day! Thanks also to Ryan Weed, John Nagel, Heather Personne, Amy Malloy, Jason Meyers, Carolyn Oberholtzer, and Maria Laughner, who spent the day with us. We will be back again next year!

The 20th Annual ULI Arizona Trends Day featured a great diversity of topics, great panelists, and more than 1,300 attendees. The overarching themes were economic trends, sustainability, arts and culture, and innovation. We're thrilled about the more than 500 new homesites coming to our master-planned community of Estrella in the City of Goodyear. A groundbreaking ceremony in the village of Montecito was held yesterday until a brilliant blue sky. Award-winning homebuilders Lennar and Richmond American Homes will bring quality single-family homes to the Estrella community. Numerous dignitaries and stakeholders, including Goodyear Mayor Joe Pizzillo attended yesterday's event. Harvard Investments President Timothy Brislin participated in the ceremonial turning over of the first shovel of dirt. The event concluded with a special "Touch-A-Truck" for the children of Estrella residents.
