Los Angeles Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Ty Kim's (HBS ‘00) award-winning documentary "Earl" about the prolific composer and Harvard professor Earl Kim, has been invited to be screened at Harvard on March 25th! The film dives deep into the life and legacy of Earl Kim (1920-1998), a pioneering American composer whose story transcends easy categorization. With seven festival selections and multiple awards, "Earl" is a compelling and inspiring journey. Notable figures featured in the film include:? ?? Finn joined Carlyle in 1996; he spearheaded the firm’s expansion into Europe as Managing Director, International in London. He was the Chief Operating Officer of Carlyle’s Corporate Private Equity and Global Credit business segments. He took the position of Global Head of Operations in 2018, and COO of the firm in 2019. Before joining Carlyle, Finn served as Executive Vice President of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), the U.S. Government agency that provided financing to U.S. investors in the developing world.
