We're thrilled to announce that our food drive???was a huge SUCCESS and we DOUBLED our food donations from last year. This year, we collected 550 lbs of food and received a $1,500 donation from HCG to support those in need. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our employees and community, we were able to provide a total of 6,500 MEALS???to local families this holiday season.?Your kindness and support made all the difference!? ? We're so proud to have dropped off these donations at the ?? Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank? (https://lnkd.in/erVWBDYS) yesterday and meet their amazing, hardworking volunteers. It was a truly rewarding experience, and we're grateful to everyone who contributed to making this initiative such a great success.? ? #HCGgivesback?#makingadifference?#community?#fooddrive2024?#foodbank?#feedingamerica #thankful

To commemorate Veterans Day, we are shining our HCG spotlight on employee Joshua Phillips, MSIM, MSISA, PMP, DASM. Thank you for your service! ? Major Joshua Phillips, USMC (ret), both honorably and patriotically served over 20 years as a Marine Mustang. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Joshua graduated high school in 1999 and worked as a tiling apprentice and commercial truck driver prior to enlisting. Following the events of September 11, 2001, he enlisted in the Marine Corps. His first assignment took him to Washington, D.C., where he was exposed to the strategic needs of the Marine Corps and inspired to apply for a commission. As a junior officer, he led Marines and deployed globally in support of national defense. In the final chapter of his career, Major Phillips played a key role in the evacuation and refugee support during the Afghanistan withdrawal as a reception liaison managing command and control requirements at Isa Air Base in Bahrain. Following his retirement, Joshua continues to serve as a Defense Contractor with Hartwood Consulting Group, where he supports the Wounded Warrior Regiment as the Information & Knowledge Management Consultant. #veteran #honor #service #hiringveterans
