Butler Academy is an open doorway to quality educational opportunities and a passport to economic and personal achievement. A tuition-free public charter school in Hartsville, South Carolina, Butler Academy is an open doorway to new ways of learning, teaching, and thinking. We serve scholars in grades 5K-4th from Darlington County, South Carolina, and the surrounding region. Beginning in Summer 2021, we will add a new grade every year until we have a fully inclusive academic community, complete with lower, middle, and upper schools. When it’s all said and done, BA will serve a total of 520 students with two classes per grade and 20 students per class. BA is an entry point to all things possible, including better tomorrows.
