Yesterday, the incredible team of Certified Lymphedema Therapists (CLTs) at Hartford Healthcare came together to raise awareness and highlight the importance of lymphedema care. Here's how we made an impact: ?? Julie Hirn, DPT CLT, was featured on Channel 3 News to spread awareness about World Lymphedema Day and the crucial work we’re doing at Hartford Healthcare to treat and manage both acute edema and lymphedema. ?? Educational Outreach: Two of our amazing occupational therapists, CLTs at Jerome Home in New Britain, set up an educational table to promote awareness about lymphedema and share resources with the staff and residents. ?? Celebrating Our Team: I'm proud to share a picture of all 44 CLTs across Hartford Healthcare who provide exceptional edema and lymphedema care in our acute care, IRU, SNF, and outpatient settings statewide.
