As #DISCUSconf25 comes to a close, I’m energized by the incredible conversations and insights shared over the past two days from experts across varying facets of the industry. From discussions on shaping consumer journeys and meeting evolving consumer demands—especially as younger audiences enter the market—to the impact of policy on our industry, it’s clear that the spirits industry is at a pivotal moment. I’m feverishly distilling (pun intended) my notes and ideas tonight as I reflect on my time here. Among all the insightful discussions, one closing statement in a panel today keeps echoing in my mind: “Double-down on authenticity. Keep your eye on the consumer. And Innovate.” I can’t think of an industry that doesn’t apply to, but it certainly seems to bring the path forward for the spirits industry into focus. I couldn’t be more thankful for this opportunity to network and collaborate with the industry, our partners and my Hart colleagues. I’m excited to take these learnings back to our teams and turn them into actionable strategies that create real impact for our partners.
