Newsletter specialist for 6-7 figure creators ? Demand Generation Specialist @Rapyd ? I write about my experience growing a one-person business.

I just studied a 10/10 pre-launch email: It's from Jake Ward and the team at Kleo. Most launch emails overly emphasise: - "EVERYTHING CHANGES TOMORROW!" - "DON'T MISS OUT!" Jake took a different approach... (Context: This is email #3 in his launch sequence). First, he reminds users what they already get for free: - Creator insights - Performance data - Content previews Smart. Shows you're already getting value. Then the subtle shift: "But what if that's just the beginning?" No hype. No pressure. Just possibility. Now here's where it gets good: He doesn't just list features. He knows exactly what keeps LinkedIn creators up at night: "Making daily engagement 2x faster" → For everyone drowning in manual engagement "Even easier to find inspiration" → For everyone staring at blank screens "A way to store and organize inspiration" → For everyone with 100 screenshots in their camera roll He's speaking directly to daily creator struggles. Not vague benefits. Not fancy features. But specific pain points his audience faces every day. Marketing Truth: People don't buy features, they buy better versions of themselves. Jake's not selling a tool. He's selling: - Faster workflow - Better content - More inspiration - Saved time That's how you build anticipation. One more subtle touch I love: "In the spirit of Black Friday week, I'm announcing something huge tomorrow! Keep an eye on your inbox :)" He tells you exactly: - When it's happening - Where to look (your inbox) No mysterious "coming soon." No vague "watch this space." Just clear next steps. Small detail, massive difference for a multi-email launch sequence. - P.S. I'm genuinely excited to see what they're launching. Might even be live by the time you read this!

This might be the greatest subject line ever written... "Ladyboys, Poo Coffee, and a Rocket Launcher Changed My Life..." Dakota Robertson has given us a masterclass in hooks. Here's why it works: Pattern interruption at its finest. Your brain literally can't scroll past this Combines 3 completely unrelated things (How are these connected? You HAVE to know). Uses the "...and" formula The first two items build tension. The third delivers the punch. Zero connection to business, which makes you even more curious about the link. Proves a point: Your subject line has ONE job → Get the email opened. Most people try to be: - Professional - On brand - Safe Dakota went for: - Weird - Intriguing - Impossible to ignore And I bet that email hit 60%+ open rates.

How this founder setup and launched his newsletter in just 3 days (without worrying about technical setup): He was: - Canadian - Ex 10 figure exc - Founder of exec coaching community - Inspired by other founder’s newsletters But wasn’t sure how to launch his own newsletter. Had a LinkedIn newsletter → but it was still “rented” audience. Knew about CK/Beehiiv/Substack → but didn’t know what’s best for him. Enjoyed writing content → but clueless about the technicals and strategy. Confused and too busy to figure it out, he reached out to me. We got on a short strategy call and started launching his email newsletter: - Beehiiv account setup (best option for his goals) - Domain properly verified (DMARC) - Branding on point - Sign-up forms embedded - Welcome email sequence written His email newsletter was setup and ready to launch in just 3 days. But this is where it gets spicy… You don’t simply set up a Beehiiv account and watch the subs flood in. You have to promote, convert and maintain deliverability. So what next? Some agencies would charge £1,000s in additional fees to help you launch. Some agencies would say “thAt’s noT pArT of ThE pAckAGe” and leave you in the dark. But I don’t roll like that, so I: - Supported them post launch → technical setup working as it should - Dialled in landing page positioning → to convert the right subscribers - Strategised on turning LI newsletter subs → into email newsletter subs No technical hiccups in sight. Confidence in subscriber loyalty and retention. All without long, drawn out onboarding and massive agency fees. In a time where LinkedIn accounts are getting suspended every week: Take control and own your audience. P.S If you’re a founder who wants to launch an email newsletter: And if you: - Don’t know how to move LI newsletter subs to email - Confused which email provider is best for you - Don’t understand the technical side of setting it up - Enjoy writing the content itself - But want confidence in running a healthy email newsletter I’m looking for 2 founders to work with in November. DM me “control”. Last time I opened up spots they went in 3 days, so be quick.

I spent 2 years testing 600+ subject lines to create this guide to help you: ? Use proven formulas? ? Pick the perfect template? ? Understand the psychology I've written subject lines for lists ranging from 300 to 300k subscribers. My best performing email? 77% open rate 15% click-through-rate. (I've even revived cold email lists to near 60% open rates) Look - there are a load of factors that impact open rates. - Sender reputation - List hygiene - Send time - The content itself But broadly speaking, nothing matters more than your subject line. It's the difference between your email being opened or ignored. Most people overthink them. They try too hard to be clever. Too hard to be professional. After writing and consulting for 20+ creators and brands… I've packaged up my 9 best-performing subject lines from the past 2 years. These consistently hit 50%+ open rates. Including: - The exact formulas I use - When to use each template - The psychology behind why they work Plus my #1 subject line that hit that 77% open rate & the preview text that went with it. Want it? 1. Like & comment with the ??emoji 2. Connect with me if you haven’t already (so I can DM you) And I'll share it with you (36 hours only). *No email opt-in required*

I just analysed one of the best product marketing emails I've seen this year. It's from Zima Dental (they make cleaning pods for Invisalign retainers) launching their new sage green product. But here's what makes it fascinating: Instead of the usual "NEW COLOR DROP!" They had their Brand Manager write it. Genius. Here's why: 1) It sets the tone The email opens with "As the brand designer for Zima Dental..." Instantly sheds the corporate voice. Now it's human to human. 2) It builds a backstory "The product team have finally signed off on the shade" That word "finally" does so much heavy lifting. Makes you feel like the brand manager has been fighting for this behind the scenes. 3) It prompts imagination They don't just announce a colour. They paint a picture: "pairs well with house plants, wooden features or gold accents" / "resting on a bathroom counter, a bedside table". Transforms it from a tool into a thoughtful addition to your space. 4) It encourages a conversation Subtle but powerful: "Let me know what you think!" Feels like a genuine ask for feedback, not a marketing CTA. 5) It's human The close is chef's kiss: "P.s. I don't get to write emails often so it's nice to e-meet you all!" Marketing 101: People buy from people. But most brands still default to: NEW PRODUCT BUY NOW LIMITED TIME Zima took a different route: - Personal - Behind the scenes - Human perspective - Zero jargon - Home styling tips - Opens a conversation And made a new colour launch feel like a letter from a friend. That's how you write emails that get opened, read, and clicked. - P.S. What do you think? Is there anything I missed?

Ever spent 2 weeks trying to write something that should've taken 5 minutes? That was me, staring at a blank screen, trying to write about moving to Manchester. Countless drafts. Deleted every single one. Classic overthinking. Every word had to be perfect. Every sentence had to sound profound (Spoiler: They never did). But Friday morning, I managed to force myself to stop trying so hard. Grabbed my phone. Opened Apple Notes. Brain-dumped everything in <5 minutes. No editing. No second-guessing. Just raw thoughts. Copied it to LinkedIn, trimmed the fat, hit post. Was it my best writing? Not even close. But it's better than it never leaving my head. Bonus: I actually enjoyed writing it for a change. - I write for hours every day. But somehow, writing for myself feels like the hardest thing in the world. Anyone else get that?

I just moved to Manchester. Completely new city. Don't know a single person here. It's a big change. I’m not someone who is particularly ‘outgoing’ by nature. I keep to myself, which is a big reason I did this. Being from Perth (Scotland), I'm definitely not used to living in a big city. I did live in Newcastle for 1.5 years, but this is a big step up for sure. I considered cities like Leeds, Liverpool and Sheffield. But something about Manchester just felt right. I’ve been here exactly 2 weeks now. Found an apartment with great views of the city - It’s exactly what I’ve always visualised in my head as a ‘dream’ apartment. So that’s cool! I haven’t explored much yet. Been focused on getting back into routine and catching up on work. A great place to start would probably be one of the marketing events I always hear about happening down here. The introvert in me is already trying to find excuses not to go but I’ll need to force myself along to one soon. So here I am. Starting fresh. A little overwhelmed, but excited for what's ahead. If anyone in my network is in or around Manchester, I'd love your recommendations for: - Food spots? - Coffee shops - Barbers (desperately) It’s way too hard trying to find good places on Google Maps. Anyway, here's to new chapters ?? P.S. First priority in any new place? Getting the desk setup Instagram-worthy

Newsletter specialist for 6-7 figure creators ? Demand Generation Specialist @Rapyd ? I write about my experience growing a one-person business.

This busy founder was struggling for time to grow his email newsletter and funnel sales to his executive coaching community, but then: He signed up for my Done for You Email Marketing service. He already had a 1-1 exec coaching offer, but wanted to add a lower ticket paid community to compliment it. The problem was: Growing his newsletter, maintaining standards and funnelling sales to the paid community was very time consuming. So we hopped on a strategy call and he handed me the keys. It was go time. Just 4 weeks in, his: - Subscribers grew 20% - Open rate increased 7.5% - CTR increased 23.6% But it didn’t stop there: - Healthier metrics opened up sponsorship opps - Repurposed each newsletter into multiple LinkedIn posts - Cut LinkedIn content creation time by 50% Not only did they save time with email marketing 100% done for them. But it cut LinkedIn content time in half. And that meant he was able to spend more time: - Growing the paid community - Building long term vision for the brand - Keeping existing coaching clients happy This all means he drives more leveraged revenue (community) and gets better testimonials (happy clients) - the icing on the cake. Now he’s got his email marketing done for him, he will focus on making money + growing the business. All without investing £10,000s in an agency. P.S. if you’re a busy founder who wants to save time and make more money, but: - You don’t have time to write email newsletters - You don’t have time to build email funnels - You struggle to juggle LinkedIn & email content - You want more time to grow your business - You want to focus on the long term brand vision I’ll write, manage and grow your email marketing for you. I’m looking for 2 busy founders to work with in October. DM me “paid” and I’ll get you the details.

How this Agency Founder with 10,000s LinkedIn followers but no email list, grew to 800 subscribers in 90 days AND added £6k pipeline from JUST 2 email sends (without writing any emails themselves): The agency founder: - Content marketing and lead gen niche - Does £30k MRR - Large LinkedIn following - Strong engagement every post Their high ticket service? Fully booked. But something was wrong. They were scared, because: - Other big creators suddenly getting banned - And losing 100,000s followers overnight - Had no funnel for lower ticket offer - Leaving £10,000s on the table - No bank of long form content All their eggs were in one basket: LinkedIn. But if their rented audience on LinkedIn got banned? Poof. Finished. So they needed an email list to fall back on. But they had no time to: - Setup their ESP (email service provider) - Manage/segment their list - Setup custom domains - Keep up with audience feedback - Analyse metrics and iterate strategy Let alone: - Write the email sequences - Write the weekly emails - Write re-engagement funnels All while: - Managing the team - Servicing his clients - Staying consistent with content Impossible. So they reached out to me and I got to work: 1. Setup their Beehiiv account 2. Created a 6 month content strategy 3. Wrote their welcome email sequence 4. Wrote their re-engagement funnels? 5. Wrote 4 months of weekly newsletters 6. Optimised their custom domain for deliverability 7. Setup polls to collect audience feedback 8. Monitored open, CTR and unsubscribes All 100% done for them, hands off email marketing. Time investment for the client: - 1 x strategy call - 1 x questionnaire That’s it. The client started driving traffic to their email list via their LinkedIn content. Then this happened: - 0 to 800 subscribers in 90 days - Open rates averaged 66% - CTR averaged 13.7% (some emails even hit 70% open, 32% CTR…sheesh) It was going well. Their “rented” audience was quickly becoming owned. And their metrics were so strong it opens the door for sponsorships. But then it got even better: Within just 2 email sends, 2 enquiries came in. £6,000 added in pipeline. The founder covered the cost of my service for 6 months… …in JUST 2 email sends. Pretty neat, huh? It’s scary putting all your eggs in one channel (aka LinkedIn). Time to build your plan B. P.S. if you’re an agency founder who likes the sound of this… And you: - Have a “rented” LinkedIn audience - Are scared it could disappear overnight - So need to turn “rented” into “owned” - But don’t have the time for email marketing I’ll write all your email funnels, sequences and weekly newsletters. 100% done for you, with just 1 call and 1 questionnaire. I’m looking for 3 agency founders to work with in October. DM me “email” and I’ll get you the details.
