03.03.2025 || This Week at the Chamber Youth & Adult Leadership: Both leadership classes will combine for their Agriculture focus session this week. Visits are scheduled for Powell Feed, North Arkansas College, Boone County Farm Bureau, the Cattlemen's Livestock Auction, and the Creekside Bike Trail. This will be the last session for our adult leadership class before their graduation at the Chamber Annual Meeting on March 18th. Ribbon Cutting: Join us on Wednesday for a Ribbon Cutting here at the Chamber, 303 N. Main St., Ste 301, for Vigilant Inspection Services at 9:30 am. First Friday Entrepreneurship + Coffee: Join us downtown on the Harrison Square on Friday at 8am for coffee at Neno's Place, 114 N. Willow St., where we will be hearing the entrepreneurship story of Robin Reeves owner of The Cake Shop. The City of Harrison and the Chamber signed the annual economic development contract at last nights city council meeting.

02.24.2025 || This Week at the Chamber Winter Weather: The snow complicated last week but we are looking forward to enjoying warmer temperatures and sunshine this week! Youth Leadership: Youth Leadership Academy meets again this week. They will be learning tips how to brush up their resumes, they will tour the North Campus of North Arkansas College, and visit the Boone County Heritage Museum. We decided to ere on the side of safety and reschedule these sessions due to predicted ice in the forecast. The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) opens for heating assistance in Arkansas Jan. 6.
