We're excited to welcome two new team members to harris&sloan! Kat Gallardo joins us as a Drafter with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Davis and seven years of experience working on commercial and residential projects using AutoCAD and Revit. She’s eager to expand her knowledge in the SMEP space and brings a unique blend of technical skill and creative insight. Avishi joins our Marketing team as an Intern while pursuing her degree in Public Relations at Sacramento State. She brings a strong foundation in media strategy, brand communication, and content development. We’re excited to support her growth as she gains hands-on industry experience. Last week, Harris & Sloan had the privilege of completing our work on The Grove a truly impactful project led by HomeAid in collaboration with First Step Communities, aimed at supporting young adults experiencing homelessness in Sacramento. Through the Adopt-A-Cabin initiative, we had the opportunity to renovate a cabin for a resident, an inspiring young man. It was a meaningful experience to not only enhance his living space, but to connect with someone so deeply committed to advocating for others in similar situations. This project is a reminder that the building industry can be a powerful force for good.
