Senior Structural Engineer Amanda Jandreau, P.E., S.E., is Harriman’s new Federal market leader. An experienced structural engineer and project manager on Federal projects, especially with the Maine Army National Guard, Amanda is now an integral part of our business development team. Senior Structural Engineer Alexander Wheelock, PE, is Harriman’s newest associate. Alex is an accomplished, detail-oriented structural engineer with extensive experience in education, commercial and high-end residential building design. We recently celebrated four employees entering new chapters in their lives (i.e., retirement). Michael Polley worked for Harriman for 43 years, starting as an engineer then transitioning into our IT manager. A proud grandfather, Mike is also a mean cornhole player. Tom Emery is a senior landscape architect who came to Harriman 7 years ago. An avid golfer, he pursued landscape design because he wanted to design golf courses. Another long-time Harriman employee (40 years), Steve Garman supported our BIM efforts through Revit software training and implementation. Richard Marchessault also worked for Harriman for 43 years, retiring as senior mechanical designer. An outdoors enthusiast, Richard is an avid cyclist and snowmobiler. We wish Mike, Tom, Steve and Richard well in their new endeavors! #newchapters #architecture #engineering

We are so excited to say, that after over a year of construction, our two current early childhood classrooms have moved into the beautiful new space effective tomorrow! For the time being all parents dropping off and picking up children, will still be entering the front main entrance to our facility. We will update, once the new side entrance opens. In late December, we had the honor of attending the topping out ceremony for HOMETOWN Health Center in Palmyra, ME, installing the final high beam on its new medical, wellness and recovery center. We're proud to be part of this project that will be a community hub for wellness and fitness, with a gym, a teaching kitchen, a daycare center for employee children, and much more.
