The Privacy vs. Innovation Debate: Can We Have Both? Hossein Abdinasibfar from Tampere University presented the paper "SPADE: Digging into Selective and Partial Decryption using Functional Encryption" at the 20th EAI International Conference on Security and Privacy in Communication Networks (#SecureComm 2024) in Dubai. SPADE offers a Functional Encryption approach that enables selective and partial decryption, providing controlled access to encrypted data. With applications in #healthcare, #finance, and #research, SPADE addresses key privacy and security challenges.
