Meet Alicia Erickson, our talented Accounting Systems Analyst, who joined O’Shea in October 2023! Alicia plays a vital role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly. From handling monthly bank reconciliations and owner payments to managing company credit cards, she’s always on top of the details. As an analyst, she also takes on special projects, digging into account issues and improving processes to keep O’Shea moving forward. “The best part of my job is the people I work with and the environment they create at O’Shea," she says. "You can do the work anywhere, but it’s rare to find a place with the strong values that O’Shea has.” In her first year, Alicia led the configuration and rollout of O’Shea’s new credit card system—a major upgrade that reduced manual processes and improved accessibility for cardholders. A huge accomplishment in such a short time! When she’s not crunching numbers, Alicia enjoys time with her husband, Luke, their kids, Olivia (3) and Tyrus (1), and their loyal pup, Tanker (13). Meet Skyler Kovach, a proud Union Laborer with Local 159 who joined the #osheateam in November 2024. Since then, she’s been hands-on in demolition, cleanup, and—her personal favorite—concrete work. What Skyler loves most about being a laborer is the variety—every day brings something new. With different projects each week, she’s always learning, growing, and never stuck doing the same thing for too long. Some of her proudest moments in her career come from mentorship—passing on knowledge to other laborers. Starting as an apprentice with no prior experience, she knows firsthand the value of learning on the job. Now, being able to teach others is a reminder of just how far she’s come. Outside of work, Skyler is a dog mom and the ultimate fun aunt to her amazing nephew. Her passion for building connections is at the heart of everything she does. "I always feel a sense of pride when I see the impact of the relationships I’ve helped foster—whether it’s a client, fellow employee, or guest reaching out with a simple ‘thank you,’ a successful event that brings people together, or a project we’ve won as a result of a strong team effort.
