When I founded Harlo Sports Group, my vision was to create a company my son, Harlo, could grow up with and take pride in. Many of you may recall the viral moment when Jamal Shead picked up trash after a tough game, showcasing his character both on and off the court. This past season, Jamal's accomplishments were remarkable: Big 12 Player of the Year, Big 12 Male Athlete of the Year, Big 12 All-1st Team, 1st Team All-American, Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, National Player of the Year, and drafted by the Toronto Raptors Basketball Club Inc. This weekend, Jamal visited our office, and it was a moment that perfectly captured why I started Harlo Sports Group. I brought Harlo to work, as I often do, and Jamal took the time to meet him, play hide and seek, and chase him around the office. Harlo had an absolute blast and talked about the fun he had all day. These are the kinds of moments I envisioned for my company—where values, family, and meaningful connections come together. Thank you, Jamal, for making this day unforgettable for my family!
