It was invigorating to join The Top 100 Massachusetts Women-Led Business breakfast this morning hosted by The Boston Globe and The Women's Edge. I appreciated the opportunity to spend time with Copyright Clearance Center (CCC) colleagues Claire Weggeman, Sara Lowe, Jessica Thibodeau, Emily Parker, Catherine (MacLean) Hodges, Emily Goodhue, Anna Zaitseva, Janelle C. and Kateri Noone. Important themes: 1) Our job as women who lead is not to go first, it is to carve a path for women coming next. 2) Employee centricity is just as important as customer centricity and is directly tied to positive outcomes. 3) Focus on finding joy in what we do and ensuring our teams work in an environment where they can as well.

"In an inspiring collaboration, The Haven Project and Harborlight Homes (HH)—two valued United Way partners—have joined forces to address the barriers faced by youth aging out of foster care or otherwise are at risk of becoming unhoused. Through their joint venture, Catalyst?Housing?in Lynn, youth will live in safe, stable housing while engaging in employment and career development opportunities. Catalyst Housing is a united effort to create pathways to stability for young adults (ages 18-24) who are just beginning to find their footing in the economy, helping them build independent, stable lives as they pursue their goals and dreams."
