Over 1500 cubic yards of concrete creates the foundation of the new parking structure. Over the past six months, Harbor Pacific Contractors and SAK Builders have made great progress on the new double oxidation ditch for the Granite Falls WWTF Upgrade project. The drone side-by-side photos show substantial progress from February 2024 (on the left) to July 2024 (on the right). Once compete, this Project will improve local water quality, support the recovery and protection of threatened cold-water fish species, and accommodate the rapid residential and economic growth of the City's population. In May, Harbor Pacific Contractors broke ground on the SR 167 Corridor Improvements Project for Washington State Department of Transportation. Crews installed environmental protection measures along SR 167 and started shaft drilling, guardrail installation, and new electrical and tolling infrastructure work. Harbor Pacific Contractors achieved a major milestone recently on the City of Sultan Wastewater Treatment Facility Upgrade, completing the commissioning of the Solids Handling Facility. Phase 2 work is underway, including the conversion of the equipment facility which will provide the process air for the new oxidation ditch.
