Harbor Association of Industry & Commerce

HAIC was established in 1975 to be a collective voice and advocate for the harbor business community. HAIC is a non-profit industrial and commercial trade association which serves as a united voice on trade, transportation, energy, environmental and land-use issues affecting the harbor. The heart of HAIC is its committees which monitor legislation, provide a forum for industrial and government speakers to address key issues, write resolutions and provide oral testimony of support or opposition which reflect the association's overall position. Members are encouraged to become active on one of several committees including: Government Affairs, Marketing & Communications, Programs, Development, Education, Scholarship & Philanthropy, and the special events such as the Harbor Cup Challenge golf tournament, our "Salute to Industry awards banquet and our annual visitation to Sacramento to meet with our legislators.
