10 Years today! It’s hard to believe that a decade has passed since Happy Ears Hearing Center was merely an idea on paper. As a parent navigating my son's hearing and vision loss, we wanted a name that captured the essence of our mission. Our vision was to transform the negative perceptions surrounding hearing loss into a positive experience, demonstrating that it doesn't have to adversely affect anyone's life.
In my previous job, I often encountered people frustrated with their hearing aid experiences—complaining about poor service from places they purchased hearing devices from and their devices sitting unused. It saddened me, as I had witnessed the benefits of hearing aids firsthand through my son. When we launched our practice, my hope was for our patients to leave feeling like they had "Happy Ears." My husband, Kevin Dewsnup, suggested the name, and from that moment, we set out to establish a comprehensive hearing center that embraced the full spectrum of audiology for all ages.
We aimed to create a modern, sophisticated atmosphere with modern technology and personalized touches that truly reflect our values. I’m proud of the incredible team we’ve built, each member overflowing with positivity and passion—something that’s hard to come by. What brings me the most joy is hearing our patients say, “My ears are happy!”
Growing multiple locations from the ground up has been challenging and at times stressful, but we’ve managed to serve over 12,000 patients in ten years, which is truly remarkable. Reading our patients' kind reviews warms our hearts, especially when they acknowledge our dedicated staff and providers. We are currently in a growth phase and are excited to see what the next decade holds.
I’m immensely thankful to my husband, who encouraged me to chase my dream while we were still dating. He recognized my passion and thought I was a bit crazy for helping someone else grow their ENT practice instead of starting our own. Together, we have created something extraordinary, and we couldn’t have done it without hiring the right people and cultivating the amazing team we have today.
