We’ve got some exciting news at Happy Day Brands ...and all of us at HQ are breaking out in a spontaneous happy dance... dare I say a few are doing somersaults and flips. That’s why I’m thrilled to announce our transition to 100% compostable packaging this "Plastic Free July." Starting this July, we’re rolling out and testing our fully compostable food service stand-up pouches nationwide, with retail stand-up pouches hitting the shelves in October. Choosing compostable packaging helps reduce plastic pollution and supports a circular economy by improving soil health. Unlike other options, our bags are entirely compostable – films, laminates, valves, and all! Best part: You can compost them commercially or at home. It’s a win for our customers and a win for the planet! A big shoutout to our amazing project team – Russ Stoddard, Vanessa Damelio, and Naomi Priddy – for their unwavering commitment to making this dream a reality. This initiative has been over a year in the making, with plenty of challenges along the way, but we’re deeply committed to eliminating single-use packaging across our brands over the next 12 months. Stay tuned in the coming weeks as we introduce the first six products in our new eco-friendly packaging.
