We are excited to announce a powerful new partnership between HAPevolve and the Essex County Office of Public Health Management, designed to enhance emergency preparedness in long-term care (LTC) facilities. This initiative comes at a pivotal moment, building on lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic to fortify the resilience of these vital healthcare institutions. HAPevolve’s LTC emergency preparedness program offers a comprehensive, easy-to-learn, nine-module curriculum that equips long-term care administrators, staff, and emergency coordinators with critical skills in areas such as infection control, resource management, and crisis decision-making. We are particularly enthusiastic about empowering these facilities with the essential tools to safeguard their vulnerable residents and staff during future public health emergencies. For nearly four years, HAPevolve has been successfully implementing similar programs across Pennsylvania through the LTC RISE Program, helping healthcare organizations statewide strengthen their emergency preparedness efforts. We are thrilled to bring this proven expertise to Essex County, contributing to the development of a stronger, more resilient healthcare infrastructure. HAPevolve is committed to making meaningful progress toward a safer, better-prepared healthcare system for vulnerable communities. Our team of experts is looking forward to the positive impact this program will have on long-term care facilities in Essex County and beyond! What initiatives is your state implementing to put the long-term communities in a better preparedness position? #EmergencyPreparedness #PublicHealth #LongTermCare #HealthcareInnovation #CommunityResilience #PartnershipForChange https://lnkd.in/e52vyeNy
