As a proud Los Angeles-based community bank, we’re committed to helping our city’s residents and businesses recover from the recent wildfires. This week, Hanmi Bank partnered with the SBA Los Angeles District Office and the YMCA to host an SBA seminar, giving those affected the chance to connect directly with SBA experts and help them navigate the road to recovery. In conjunction with the event, Hanmi Bank partnered with Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco (Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco) in its Southern California Wildfire Relief and Recovery initiative by presenting both the YMCA of the USA and the Korean American Federation of Los Angeles (KAFLA) each with a check for $30,000. We also want to thank our team members, the #nonprofits and all the agencies on the ground working to get recovery efforts underway.?

This past week, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Dallas hosted a seminar titled, “Navigating the Changing Economic Tides.”?More than 50 organizations and 10,000 guests attended the event. Our Hanmi team members were on hand to introduce the bank to the many that participated in the informative gathering. As part of our continued efforts to support communities impacted by the LA fires, Hanmi Bank partnered this week with the Korean American Federation of Los Angeles (KAFLA) and the office of LA City Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez (representing the 7th District) to assist those affected by the Hurst Fire. The special food bank event for Hurst Fire victims coincided with the start of Lunar New Year and took place at Pacoima City Hall. Over a dozen Hanmi Bank employees were present to assist with food distribution and to lend a helping hand during this difficult time for our community. Hosted by The Miilk ???, a technology and economy information media company in Silicon Valley and Official Media Partner of CES2025, the event centered on Korea’s role in rapidly developing AI trends globally.
