Are you an auto tech that has experience working with Chevy Astros? Our nonprofit partner Baja Dog Rescue needs help performing repairs on their vehicle. This nonprofit relies heavily on volunteer support in order to rescue and transport dogs off of the streets and uses their trusty Chevy Astro for transportation. Land O'Lakes loves nothing butter than giving back to the communities they serve! Take a peek at our recent volunteer project with Land O'Lakes at their Annual Meeting, where 230 of their Member Owners and their families joined us in packing 1528 hygiene kits for Sharia's Closet. The packed hygiene kits included a comb, toothbrush, tissues, shampoo, and other hygiene essentials. Our project took place during their Dr. Seuss-themed dinner and networking event so it was decked out in colorful decor and included guests like the Grinch and the Cat in the Hat ?? Thank you to our wonderful HandsOn San Diego volunteers who made this project possible and to the Land O'Lakes team for helping to strengthen and support the San Diego community! ?? Calling all folks with a green thumb! Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest San Diego is searching for volunteers to keep their Encinitas and Solana Beach gardens in good shape. The gardens are an important part of the culinary program that's offered, so volunteers are tasked with supporting the garden's upkeep by weeding, mulching, and planting. ???? Ready to get started? At the Tree Planting in Redwood Village Community on March 22 from 9:00am - 12:30pm, volunteers will team up with Groundwork San Diego Chollas Creek to plant 30 trees at homes. The Laughing Pony Rescue helps to rescue, rehome, rehabilitate, and provide sanctuary for equines and farm animals by providing equine therapy.
