Here at Handsome Brook Farms, we’re dedicated to the health and well-being of animals. The EATS Act directly challenges common-sense animal welfare regulations and our values as an organization. We’re proud to join ButcherBox and other industry leaders in opposing the Ending Agricultural Trade Suppression (EATS) Act (S.2019 and H.R.4417). If passed, this bill would overturn two state laws that require farm animals to be raised without cruelty and ban the sale of pork that doesn’t comply with certain animal welfare laws.
