Had an amazing time judging the AI for Africa Hackathon with Tope Alabi. Very impressed by what the teams were able to come up with in just a weekend. And congrats to the winner Qudirah Alimi! Her SkinFix solution was a really compelling combination of technical execution, branding and niche audience. Some other standouts: Spaced-repetition learning tools built on Wikipedia from Iyanuoluwa Ajao Slack + RAG tools for healthcare teams from Olamide Faniyan. And so many others! I'm excited to continue tracking what solutions continue to come from Nigeria and the continent.
