  • Now is not the time to allow things to happen. It's too easy to let things slide or ignore shifts in our organizations when it seems everything around us is in chaos. Building a positive company culture takes intentional and consistent action on the part of everyone at all levels. A simple framework for a company culture transformation includes: 1. Assessing the current culture – from where are you starting? Conduct surveys and hold candid discussions. 2. Defining the desired culture – what do you want from a cultural perspective? Define your organization's mission, vision, and values. Communicate behavioral expectations. 3. Identifying key focus areas – Some areas to consider are transparent communication, leadership training, recognition programs, and professional development. 4. Implementing action plans – this is the engine behind the transformation. Set clear objectives, engage employees at all levels, and start small with pilot programs and build from there. 5. Monitoring and adjusting – You can't change what you don't measure. Hold regular check-ins, create feedback loops, and be sure to celebrate milestones. While these steps are simple, it's not easy to change an organization's culture. Partnering with an expert alleviates some of the load and helps guide you to the desired destination. What is one thing that is impacting your culture today? Do you want to change it?

  • What should you do if current employees don’t accept or fit into a new company culture? If you lead an organization that is trying to redefine your company culture, your first order of business is to answer the question: What do you want your organization to stand for in the marketplace? Redefining company culture starts with a clear identity. Values, behaviors, leadership style, and decision-making all flow from this core question. If an organization can define?who?it wants to be, it can build a culture that aligns with that vision, attracts the right talent, and sustains long-term success. What do you do if an employee doesn’t align or refuses to behave within the new culture framework? 1. Communicate the “why”: Sometimes resistance comes from misunderstanding or fear of change. 2. Provide support: If the employee is high-performing or in a high-valued role, offer coaching, training, or mentoring to help them align with the new values and behaviors. 3. Assess the impact: Is it temporary or fundamental? If the employee’s values and behaviors fundamentally conflict with the new culture, it is time for an honest conversation about their fit in the organization. 4. Make the tough call: When alignment is impossible or is disruptive to the team or the company’s growth, a graceful exit may be the best path forward for all. As an executive and the leader of your organization, you have the responsibility of driving the culture shift. So, walk the talk and hold everyone accountable for supporting the change. Let us know how we can help you redefine your company culture. For several decades, we have joined forces with leading organizations worldwide to create the impact they want to have in the marketplace. We can help you, too.? ?

  • What is more important – culture or morale? If you are a corporate executive, you may consider this question often when you are looking at ways to improve things for long-term success. There is always the camp that believes that employee morale is important, and you should focus your attention there to make everyone happy. Here’s the reality: Creating a positive company culture that focuses on values, beliefs and desire behaviors will directly impact morale. So, spend your resources on developing a sustainable culture that can weather any storm. This will – * Create a successful foundation for your company to build on. * Bring individuals at all levels to work toward common objectives. * Create a shared framework where employees feel a greater sense of purpose and commitment. Resilience is what organizations needs in today’s economic climate and a shared company culture will drive this. When you have this type of alignment it increases collaboration, creates a collective voice, and reduces conflict.
