HALTER equine assisted services

HALTER (Healing And Learning Through Equine Relationships) provides a variety of services to children with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges. HALTER is a member of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International and employees credentialed professionals. Volunteer opportunities are always available. A non-profit organization, HALTER depends on donations to provide services. Created in 1987, HALTER has grown in the types of services provided, and services are based on evidence-based best practices. HALTER is actively involved in researching those practices. We invite visitors to come learn more about us and the way we are enhancing the lives of our participants- their families- and our volunteers! We also provide training in for those interested in becoming equine assisted services professionals. Contact us for more information.
