We love Northwest brands, and since?1979?Izzy’s Pizza has seen weddings, graduations, even a miracle or two. Over?four?decades the restaurant became an important part of the?Northwest?community. Izzy’s was forced to close its doors during the economic downturn from Covid. But for four years Izzy’s fans posted relentlessly on social media,?refusing?to give up on the brand.?We tracked the metrics and their resilience?inspired?us. So we made it a mission?to bring back the brand in whatever way possible. Enter the Izzy’s Time Machine. Touring all?over?Oregon, this food truck allows us to take the joy of Izzy’s on the road to all our fans.Inspired by Izzy’s original 1979 branding, we?edited?old commercials for ads, and even went?so?far as?to?get?the original?recipes and?oven to cook the pizzas. So far the Izzy’s Time Machine has thrived at minor league baseball games, the Oregon State Fair and other local events experience the same great Izzy’s experience. It’s not the real world, it’s the ballpark! This has become the theme of one of our newest clients, The Mavericks League. We started by refreshing the league’s branding and bringing it back to a simpler time. Inspired by the Battered Bastards of Baseball and the Portland Mavericks moniker from their first days in the 70s, we created a nostalgic feel, while reminding everyone that Independent Baseball is an escape from the real world. The ballpark is a place where everything is easier.
