With more than 20 years of Food and Beverage experience in addition to Assisted Living experience, Bert Pelletier has built a career rooted in passion for culinary excellence and customer satisfaction. His journey began as a young Cook Supervisor in a long-term care facility while attending high school, where he discovered the joy of creating meals that brought comfort and care to residents. Attending the Atlantic Culinary Academy in Dover, NH for college whilst working at an Assisted Living facility in Andover further honed his skills. After graduating Culinary School in 2003, Bert took hotel positions at the Embassy Suites Boston, first as a Breakfast Cook and Sous Chef. Later he joined Hilton as an Executive Chef and Marriott as Food and Beverage Director, where he developed strong leadership, operational, and team-building skills. He expanded his expertise with Virgin Atlantic. In time, Bert returned to the healthcare side of the food industry, joining SLR. He gained valuable knowledge about dementia care and applied his culinary expertise to support residents battling Alzheimer’s, using innovative cooking techniques to bring comfort and fight cognitive decline. He looks forward to fostering environments where care, creativity, and connection thrive. #hallkeen #assistedliving #seniorliving

Stacey Hayward is a native Texan who attended the University of Houston where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Health Education. She’s always had a passion for helping others which led her to a career in healthcare after completing her Masters in Health Administration. For the first part of her career, she worked in prestigious healthcare research institutions such as M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and Emory University.?During her time working in hospitals, she began to really develop a passion for understanding health disparities and long term care for seniors in marginalized communities.?Stacey obtained her license as a skilled nursing administrator and spent the next 7 years of her career working in leadership for skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities. Stacey is very excited to join The Residences at Kenilworth Park and is looking forward to helping the organization expand and grow the work they are doing to serve and create and enhance the quality of life for seniors in the DC area. #hallkeen #assistedliving #seniorliving

HallKeen Assisted Living Communities welcomes Michael Lundholm as new Regional Sales Specialist. A California transplant, Michael moved to Massachusetts in ’98 with Coscto Wholesale to build its Dedham location. He has been in the AL industry for many years, with roles in Sales and Marketing including multi state and multi community support. ? Michael has two beautiful daughters, 21 and 19 years of age. He currently lives on the South Shore of MA. When he is not out fishing, watching sports, traveling to some warm and sunny place, or seeing an ’80’s Classic Rock Band, he likes spending quality time with his daughters. ? He is very excited to join the Hallkeen Team and looks forward to working with each and every one of us!

HallKeen Assisted Living Communities is excited to announce the promotion of Maria Barbosa-Santos to Regional Director of Operations as of today! Maria returned to HallKeen Assisted Living Communities in February 2023 as Regional Sales Specialist for the Boston Region, being welcomed back after a short time away. In addition, Maria worked for HallKeen for more than 10 years prior – first as Sales/Community Relations Director at Susan Bailis in Boston and then Executive Director at Brigham House in Watertown, MA. Maria is well respected for her professionalism and dedication to HallKeen and its communities’ residents, and we are all excited by what she will bring to her new position.?
