Shorter days bring about spectacular moonrises and moonsets. Thank you, John Neder, for this lovely image from Booneville West.

Lawrence Auen walked away from a local competitor in April of 1993 into our company and never looked back. Lawrence worked for Hallett Materials from April of 1993 to May of 2017. He was our go to heavy equipment hauler and remained a very valuable part of our team as our parts runner in Western Iowa in his last years with us. Lawrence passed away on Sunday, September 15. According to his family his wish was to leave this world in the last Hallett Materials hat he received at Christmas in 2022 (pictured). Our thoughts and prayers are with Lawrence’s family and friends. https://bit.ly/3zcbPxT

Our Ankeny office celebrated Inclusion Week with a potluck. Employees brought dishes that are meaningful to them, and during lunch everyone discussed their buffet contribution and cultural backgrounds. There were also activities, including a friendly game competition and a coloring contest. Thanks to Kristi Crothers for sending in the photos!
