Congratulations to our ?? February Technician of the Month ??, Bob Thoen from Volvo Cars Silver Spring! Over 40 years ago, Bob began his journey with Herb Gordon in the Oldsmobile Service Department. After working to become a Certified Master Technician of not one, but THREE different automotive brands, he transitioned over to Volvo Cars in 1991 where—you guessed it— he not only became a Volvo Master Technician, but competed and is recognized as one of the top Volvo technicians in North America. ?? Beyond his technical expertise, Bob is a devoted husband, father, coach and mentor. Today, you can find him working in the shop alongside his son, Tommy, continuing a love for the auto industry already 4 decades long.
