A milestone for sports in Edmond, Oklahoma! We broke ground this week on the $17.5 million renovation of AC Caplinger Sports Complex at Hefner Park. This 45-year-old complex will soon feature 10 ball fields, increased parking, covered bleachers, a playground and other new amenities. These improvements will not only benefit the local community but will also attract larger tournaments, boosting tourism and economic development for Edmond. We're proud to collaborate with the City of Edmond to develop the master plan and vision for this revitalized youth sports complex and community park. Planning/Landscape Architecture Team Leader James Hazzard gave opening remarks at the beginning of the ceremony. Every year on Sept. 5, the world comes together to celebrate #InternationalDayofCharity.
